Volunteer lockdown army helps to make Britain brighter.😀🌞 #volunteering #positivity https://t.co/v9eWeR70qK
Whether you've got spare time on your hands or you're actively retired, we need regular volunteers to help out in our busy reclaimed wood workshop.
You'll be unloading and moving supplies, measuring, shaping and assembling wood and assisting with customer orders. These roles suit people of all ages, job-seekers, retired or semi-retired people, college students or DIY enthusiasts... all you need is a basic level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a team.
Give us a bell to explore your options!
Our wood collections and workshop operate Mon-Fri 8.30am-4pm.
Contact Liz for more info about volunteering or work experience roles or to apply: 0161 223 8200, Option 6 or email: volunteering@emergemanchester.co.uk
Whether you're a job seeker wanting to kick-start your career in construction, or a college student looking for something to complement your studies, we can give you the practical experience you need.
We can offer accredited online courses in Safe Working and Customer Service, supported by hands-on training in the Touch Wood workshop.
Volunteer with us a minimum of one day a week and claim your travel and lunch expenses.
On completing your time with us you'll have accredited qualifications and a work reference under your belt, as well as a wealth of experience!
We work with volunteers aged 18 and over. Below that age we would consider enquiries on an individual basis.
